We read this book today - it's a library one. I would recommend it completely as a book for all ages - MB loved the narration, EB took to reading out all the thought bubbles that are dotted about throughout and OD got an opportunity to demonstrate her superior intellect. And that is where it went wrong.
She WOULD NOT have it that the Moon is the size of a pin head on comparison to the Sun - which if you want to continue with the comparisons is a beach ball. Even though the book clearly explains that distance is the reason behind them looking the same to us. It was MB's fault. When I asked which was smallest, he said Moon - a complete fluke I am sure, but he knew he had a 50/50 chance of getting it right so he took a shot.
Of course, after a bit of discussion, OD conceded there was a chance she was wrong and we continued to read the book, ignoring MB whispering "pin head" to OD throughout.

LOL! glad it's not just us that have these kind of massed battles! (tbh its usually me and Saurus who both insist we are right and the other is wrong)
