It is October, and I should hardly be surprised by this. You would think by now with over thirty years experience, I would be aware of the changing seasons, the cooling weather, closing nights and greyer skies.
No. Still each year I make inane, wondrous comments at how quickly it is getting dark. I bemoan the extra twenty minutes it takes to leave the house because every one now needs jackets.
There is magic afoot though, and I have noticed these little Shrooms popping up:
And this little bug needs to find a few hundred buddies to snuggle up with over the winter months:
