a day of ordinary playing

I had hoped the current sickness in the house would slow things down from the busy busy that normally goes on.

It did.

Kind of.

We weren't busy dashing about from place to place like we normally are, but these little people, with their big brains and over sized imaginations, managed to come up with a whole flurry of activity that left me pretty much worn out (but happy) at the end of the day.

We played board games: Junior Pictionary, Pictureka, Cluedo, Buccaneer and Snakes and Ladders.

Those who were well enough played in the tree house (with the nights drawing in, and the temperature dipping, final tree house moments of 2010 are being snatched up round here.)

Autumn pixies were made (the kids love fancylicious fairylands blog, and a pixieland is very much on the to do list!)
