observation skills

Lb has been unwell the past two days. Not anything too awful, more in the line of shivers and snuggles.

Now, being a home educating family he has not been short of nurses and companions. Earlier today Od watched several episodes of Postman Pat with him and noticed the following:

1) Postman Pat goes every where in his uniform....even on his days off when he's messing about with boats on the river.

2) Postman Pat does not observe the law in regards to passenger safety and his van. At one time two small children popped out of the back where there is no seats and no seat belts.

3) Postman Pat uses his work van for personal outings, which is surely against Royal Mail policy.

With these observations, you can imagine the conversation afterwards was a little bit surreal. If I had to put this in an educational box, it would be in the Citizenship section. It was interesting, even with this odd situation, to get an insight into what Od believes to be right and wrong. At the tender age of ten years old, she has got quite a clear idea of improper behaviour.

And, if Od were in charge, I'm afraid he would now be Mr Former-Postman Pat, possibly awaiting a court hearing and fearing a prison sentence.

:) I love when the children get philosophical, and start asking and answering questions.
