spring adventuring

When the universe presents you with another sky so blue as this:


Then there is only one course of action, to go outside.

This time we went to the woods, to play in the dappled shadows of the trees.


Hide and seek:


They came prepared with swords, bows and shields. I have mentioned before that we struggle to leave Ancient History, and it would appear that we are firmly back in the Roman Empire once again, this time acting out the boyhood days of Julius and Marcus.


We stopped off at a local fancy hotel for ice creams and games. (Lucky for us that this fancy hotel are not snobs, and don't mind spinning and squealing on their front lawn...or at least they don't stop us.)


There was a stream for cooling off, or in Lb's case, stripping off. He was naked in that water, and rolling in it. I have pictures, but they are being saved for future girlfriends.


We returned home tired, muddy and happy to warm baths and toast,a story and bed.
